Formed in 2021 by guitarist and main song writer Jani Loikkanen, Admire the Grim took a fast start towards the well known melodic death metal scene. The band released a music video for 'Rogue Five' -single in 2022 and was instantly signed by Inverse Records. The debut EP 'Rogue Five' features four songs, which were all well received by the audience, media and critics. The good reception of the EP made sure the band was able to tour Finland and visit Estonia as well on the very next year after the release.
Debut full-length album 'Resist' followed in January 2025. With Antti 'Hyrde' Hyyrynen of Stam1na featuring on vocals on the album's second single 'Resist', the album and the band started to gain international attention. Right after the release of the album, the band toured Finland once again, expanding their touring schedule to new cities.
